The Challenge & The Solution

Why Education Matters in Nepal

Poverty, geographical isolation, and loss of family support create massive hurdles for underprivileged children. Overcoming these barriers unlocks generational transformation.

The Barrier

Many families struggle to afford basic school fees, uniforms, and textbooks, forcing children to drop out prematurely and engage in child labor.

Our Intervention

SCCWS steps in with comprehensive scholarships covering tuition, books, stationery, uniforms, and regular academic mentoring.

Long-Term Impact

Educated children break the cycle of poverty, uplifting their families, strengthening local communities, and contributing to Nepal’s future.

About SCCWS Nepal

Rooted in Compassion, Dedicated to Sustainable Change.

Based in Minbhawan, Kathmandu, the Shiva Community Children Welfare Society (SCCWS Nepal) was founded with a profound vision: to ensure that no child is deprived of education or basic welfare due to financial hardship, loss of parents, or marginalization.

We work closely with local governments, school administrations, and community leaders to identify vulnerable children and provide them with long-term, structured support systems.
