SCCWS Nepal (Shiva Community Children Welfare Society) is a registered non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2019 and based in Minbhawan, Kathmandu. We are officially registered with the Government of Nepal under Govt. Reg. No. 247365/077/078 and formally affiliated with the Social Welfare Council under SWC Affiliation No. 51903.
Our registration and affiliation numbers are displayed on every page of this website and can be independently verified through the Social Welfare Council of Nepal. You’re also welcome to request copies of our registration certificates directly from our Minbhawan head office or by emailing info@sccwsnepal.org.
Our work is organized around three pillars: Education & Scholarships (school fees, books, and learning materials), Child Health & Wellbeing (pediatric checkups, health camps, and psychological support), and Community Support & Emergency Relief (food distribution, winter clothing, and disaster response for vulnerable families).
Our programs are centered in Kathmandu Valley, with scholarships and outreach extending to rural districts across Bagmati Province. We prioritize communities identified through local government and school recommendations, and continue to expand coverage as resources allow.
Children are identified through local government and school administration recommendations, then assessed by our team through home visits and surveys before being enrolled. Sponsors help fund tuition, school fees, and materials, with the child’s academic progress reported back to supporters regularly.
Priority is given to helpless, orphaned, poor, and economically disadvantaged children who lack access to education. Candidates are recommended by relevant local government representatives and school administrators, and each case is verified through an SCCWS assessment before a scholarship is granted.
You can transfer funds directly to our verified official account at Siddhartha Bank Ltd., Tinkune Branch, Account No. 01716492545 (SWIFT: SIDDNPKA). For international wires, please ensure intermediary bank fees are covered by the sender, and email your deposit slip or wire confirmation to support@sccwsnepal.org.
